What is Legacy Giving?
Are you making plans for the future? Have you thought about what kind of legacy you want to leave? Have you considered how God fits in the picture? These are questions we all may consider whether we are in the midst of a worldwide crisis or not.
What is a Legacy Giving Webinar?
You are invited to participate in an online meeting (webinar) to learn about this topic and introduce information which can help you consider your options. Leaders from the Diocese, St Mary’s Lakewood, and St Luke’s Tacoma will share timely information and give you an opportunity to ask questions.
- When: Saturday, May 23rd, 10 am to Noon
- Where: Webinar using Zoom to connect all participants
- How to sign up:
When must I register? Make your reservation not later than Thursday, May 21st. This will give the presenters time needed to be sure you can attend and participate. You will be contacted to discuss details and insure you have the materials needed for the webinar.
Who is presenting the information at this Legacy Giving Webinar?
Our own Bishop Greg Rickel will make the keynote presentation.
Other leaders presenting will include Rev Marian Stinson and Rev Paul Rietmann, Stewardship Chair Jimmy Collins and other members of our Parish. We will also hear from Chris Huss, Treasurer at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and Family Law Attorney.
What should I do if interested?
Contact the Parish Office right away or call Jimmy Collins to express your interest. You will be asked some basic information to insure you can participate in the session. If you have not used Zoom previously, don’t worry – we can show you how to use the application and join this meeting.
