St. Mary’s Applies…Grant Opportunity

A “Pop Up” grant opportunity is being offered by the Diocese of Olympia. An application is being made for updated equipment to film, edit, and produce our worship services. The soundboard and mixer will allow the choir and praise band to produce a higher quality of sound for each service. The upgraded technology will also allow us to hold virtual services for baptisms, memorial, and committal services.

Reentry Task Force

The Reentry Task Force continues to meet and evaluate the COVID 19 status of the Pierce County and the impact to our building use.  Capital Heating & Cooling has been through the building to evaluate our HVAC system. There are several options to consider regarding the air circulation, filtering system and ventilation. This information is being reviewed and submitted to the Vestry with recommendations.

Entry Procedures

A Reminder – Entry Procedures must be followed by those who need to access the building. This might include staff, those participating in pre-recording worship, or someone coming to see Rev. Marian. Upon entering, you are required to wear a mask, complete the questionnaire, take, and record your temperature… Please follow the established guidelines upon entering the building for your health and of those around you.

Wit and Wisdom

The best thing to do is hold on to each other.

It’s okay to be a self-made man, just don’t consider the job finished too soon.

To be in your children’s memories tomorrow, you have to be in their lives today.

Celebration – Honoring
